Excellent Gear Coupling
A gear coupling is a mechanical device for transmitting torque between two shafts that are not coaxial. A gear coupling that utilizes a sleeve is considered a flexible coupling, as they allow for some degree of misalignment between shafts. A complete gear coupling consists of at least two hubs, and if flexible at least one sleeve. They are available in numerous configurations, such as rigid, flex-rigid, and flex- flex. Gear couplings are available in a multitude of sizes and styles dependant on the application. They are called gear couplings because the sleeves have the outward appearance of a gear. Gear Shaft Coupling
